Carl Kvanvig of Capital Accounting, P.C., has a BS in Accounting and Business plus a Masters Degree in Management. Carl is a Certified Public Accountant with twenty plus years of experience. He uses the experiences gained working with the Small Business Development Center of UND and Small Business Management of BSC, and as an entrepreneur to assist businesses and agencies. He works closely with support staff and clients on a daily basis to make sure their businesses run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. His experience as a controller in a large non-profit organization provides additional knowledge to assist non-profit companies.

Misty attained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from University of Mary in 2004. She has worked in various positions since attaining her degree: Served as Clinic Office Manager for a Family Practice Clinic, Seasonal Tax Associate and served as an accountant/budget Specialist for Job Service. She brings this strong background in accounting to Capital Accounting, PC.

Besides working approximately 24 to 32 hours per week at Capital Accounting, she enjoys maintaining books for her husband's construction company, actively participates in a farming operation near Wilton and enjoys spending time with her two girls.

Walt joined Capital Accounting in November of 2010. Walt has a BS with majors in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Mary. He also has over twenty years of experience as a CPA. Walt audited corporate income and severance taxes for North Dakota after graduation, then held various private industry positions which culminated in a controller position responsible for public reporting of $45M of revenues for a division of a national homebuilder. He has spent the last six years in public accounting. Walt specializes in practical accounting advice and implementations for real-world situations, either in our office or at your location. Walt also assists business and individuals with tax planning and compliance preparation.

Shauna attended Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, WY, majoring in Paralegal studies. She moved to Bismarck in June of 2010 from Spearfish, South Dakota. Shauna worked in a variety of office settings before joining Capital Accounting, the most recent being Office Manager for a Psychological Practice. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with my husband and two daughters and enjoys the great outdoors.
